General Terms of Sale
These General Terms of Sale (hereinafter “GTS”) govern all sales concluded between Altowork(hereinafter “the Seller”) and any consumer (hereinafter “the Customer”) making a purchase on the website altowork.shop.
Any order implies unconditional acceptance of these GTS, which take precedence over any other document. The Seller reserves the right to modify them at any time; the applicable GTS are those in force at the time the order is placed.
1. Seller Identification
Entity: BlueCloud.dev — Aymen HAMMOUDA
Trade name: Altowork
Legal status: Micro-enterprise (Sole Proprietorship)
Address: 3 Rue Lavoisier, 92350 Le Plessis-Robinson, France
SIRET: 101 642 460 000 14
VAT: Not applicable — VAT exemption (art. 293 B of the French Tax Code)
Email: contact@altowork.shop
2. Product Description
The products offered for sale are accessories and décor items for home office workspaces: stands, organisers, lighting, and desk accessories in wood, bamboo, and metal.
The essential characteristics of each product (description, dimensions, materials, photos) are presented on the corresponding product page. Photos are provided for illustrative purposes only; slight colour variations may exist between production batches.
Product offers are valid while stocks last. In the event of unavailability after an order has been placed, the Customer will be informed as soon as possible and may choose between an equivalent substitute product, an extended delivery time, or a full refund.
3. Prices
Prices are stated in euros (€) inclusive of all taxes (TTC). Pursuant to art. 293 B of the French Tax Code, VAT is not applicable; displayed prices therefore correspond to the pre-tax price = total price.
Shipping costs are indicated before order confirmation and vary according to the destination and chosen shipping method. The total amount payable (products + shipping) is clearly displayed before order confirmation.
The Seller reserves the right to modify prices at any time. Products are invoiced at the rate in force at the time the order is confirmed.
4. Placing an Order
Orders are placed via the Shopify platform integrated into altowork.shop. The process consists of: selecting items → cart → entering contact and delivery details → choosing a payment method → validation and confirmation.
An order confirmation email is sent upon validation. This email constitutes an acknowledgement of receipt, not a definitive acceptance. The sales contract is definitively concluded upon receipt of payment and dispatch of the parcel.
The Seller reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order for which a payment dispute exists in relation to a previous order, or where fraud is suspected.
5. Payment
Payment is due immediately upon ordering. Accepted payment methods are those offered by Shopify (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay, etc.).
Transactions are secured by SSL/TLS encryption. The Customer's banking details do not pass through the Seller's servers; they are processed directly by Shopify's authorised payment provider.
In the event of payment refusal by the bank, the order is automatically cancelled and the Customer is informed by email.
6. Delivery
Products are dispatched within the timescales indicated on the product page and summarised in the confirmation email. Timescales run from receipt of payment.
For detailed information on delivery zones, carriers, timescales, and rates, see our Shipping Information page.
In the event of a delivery delay attributable to the carrier, the Seller cannot be held liable. The Customer may however contact customer service for investigation. If a parcel is lost, the Seller will proceed with re-shipment or a refund following an investigation with the carrier.
Risk transfers to the Customer upon delivery of the parcel, or in the case of a collection point, upon handover of the parcel to the Customer.
7. Right of Withdrawal
Pursuant to articles L.221-18 to L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the Customer has 14 days from receipt of the goods to exercise their right of withdrawal, without having to justify their decision or pay any penalty.
To exercise this right, the Customer must notify their decision by means of an unambiguous statement (postal letter or email to contact@altowork.shop). The Customer may use the model form below, but this is not mandatory.
The Customer must return the goods within 14 days of communicating their withdrawal decision. Return costs are borne by the Customer, unless the Seller has agreed to cover them.
The refund is made within 14 days of receiving the returned goods (or proof of dispatch). The refund is made via the same payment method used for the original order.
Exceptions:The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the Customer's specifications or clearly personalised, nor to goods that have been unsealed after delivery and cannot be returned for hygiene reasons.

8. Legal Warranties
Products sold benefit by law from the following warranties:
- Legal warranty of conformity (art. L.217-4 et seq. of the French Consumer Code): the Customer has 2 years from delivery to take action. During the first 24 months, the existence of the lack of conformity at the time of delivery is presumed (12 months for second-hand goods). The Customer may choose between repair and replacement, unless one option entails a manifestly disproportionate cost.
- Warranty against hidden defects (art. 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code): the Customer may take action within 2 years of discovering the defect. They may choose between rescission of the sale or a reduction in price (art. 1644 of the French Civil Code).
To invoke a warranty, the Customer contacts customer service at contact@altowork.shop, describing the defect and providing proof of purchase.
9. Returns and Refunds
Any return must be notified in advance by email to contact@altowork.shop. The Customer will then receive return instructions. Items must be returned in their original condition (original packaging intact where possible, accessories included).
The Seller reserves the right to refuse or reduce the refund if the returned product shows signs of abnormal use or damage attributable to the Customer.
10. Limitation of Liability
The Seller cannot be held liable for non-performance of the contract in cases of force majeure (art. 1218 of the French Civil Code), including strike action, natural disaster, pandemic, network failure, or any other external, unforeseeable, and irresistible event.
In any event, the Seller's liability is limited to the amount of the order in question.
